Duck Dynasty Poem

Here it is Wednesday again.  One of my favorite days of the week!  I love Wednesdays!   This has become our family night.  My daughter and her family come over.  Sometimes we have dinner together - sometimes not -- depending on what's going on and what we are having - LOL.   We play games - maybe just the adults playing cards but sometimes a family board game.  Then we get our snacks and watch Duck Dynasty.  I love this show! 

The following poem sums up Duck Dynasty.  If you don't already watch this show you need to start. 

DUCK DYNASTY

Today is a day we look forward to with glee

It’s Wednesday today and that means Duck Dynasty!

 You might say we are crazy and some would agree

But Wednesday nights are the best for me.

 The show is amazing, clever and funny

The family down to earth in spite of their money.

 Phil and Miss Kay, Uncle Si and the brothers

The wives and the children all love one another.

 Their antics are crazy their work ethic is too

But each week I look forward to something new.

 Whether hunting for ducks or looking for turtles

Nothing for them is too big of a hurdle.

Hunt down an alligator that has come in the yard

Nothing for them will prove too hard.

 Phil will give advice in his quiet sort of way

And they all look forward to food from Miss Kay.

To God they give credit for all their success

And they all consider that they have been blessed.

 They believe in God and end each show with a prayer

The message that comes across is perfectly clear.

Love God and love your family

And that is why I look forward to Duck Dynasty!
